MINSK, 25 September (BelTA) – Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Cuba Alexander Aleksandrov presented his credentials to Vice President of the State Council of Cuba Gladys Bejerano Portela, BelTA learnt from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The Vice President of the State Council of Cuba praised the level of relations and mutual understanding between the two countries in every area of cooperation. She stressed that Cuba and Belarus are united by time-tested close friendly relations and expressed hope that the activity of the Belarusian ambassador would contribute to the development of multidimensional interstate cooperation.
Alexander Aleksandrov stressed the importance of building up comprehensive cooperation with an accent on expanding bilateral trade and cooperation ties.
The parties view as significant to focus the efforts on strengthening the Belarusian-Cuban trade and economic cooperation.
