MINSK, 25 September (BelTA) – The African market is the most attractive market for cooperation, Belarusian First Deputy Industry Minister Aleksandr Ogorodnikov said at a press conference in Minsk on 25 September, BelTA learned.
In terms of international relations Belarus has traditionally focused more on post Soviet Union countries and the European Union. "Today we work on all continents and with different groups of goods," Aleksandr Ogorodnikov said.
As for Africa, today it is the most attractive market for cooperation, the first deputy minister noted. "We view African countries as partners. They understand that we offer them a true partnership," he said. "This is why we have quite good trusting relations with almost all African countries."
Belarus supplies mainly agricultural machines to the African market and organizes maintenance, after-sales service and training of specialists. "We see that agricultural machines pave the way for other Belarusian goods," Aleksandr Ogorodnikov said.
