MINSK, 11 May (BelTA) – The Belarusian Ministry of Communications and Information Technologies, the China Development Bank, and Huawei Technologies have agreed to develop cooperation in information and communication technologies. The relevant memorandum was signed during the Belarus-China interregional business forum in Minsk on 11 May, BelTA has learned.
Besides, a memorandum of understanding was signed by the Belarusian Ministry of Communications and Information Technologies and ZTE Corporation.
The Belarusian State University of Informatics and Radioelectronics (BSUIR) also inked a cooperation agreement with some producers of communication equipment.
Minsk is currently hosting the Belarus-China interregional business forum. It has been organized by the Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China, the Belarusian Economy Ministry, and the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. All in all, the participants of the forum are set to conclude over 20 agreements on cooperation in different areas.
