MINSK, 1 December (BelTA) – Belarus and the Chinese province of Gansu are implementing seven investment projects. Their progress was discussed during the meeting of Deputy Prime Minister of Belarus Anatoly Kalinin and Ding Zhongjun, head of the representative office of the Gansu Province Foreign Trade Society, on 1 December, the press service of the Belarus government told BelTA.
The investment projects include the organization of malt production together with Juxin Malt Technology and the production of PVC pipes together with Nedu Company in the China-Belarus industrial park Great Stone, the establishment of a center for trade, culture, science, and technology by the Belarusian State Technology University and Gansu Quansheng Corporation, the construction of a logistics hub in Grodno Oblast, the creation of a Belarusian-Chinese center for trade cooperation, and the reconstruction of the Grodno Hotel.
Apart from that, the sides discussed promising avenues of interaction between Belarus and Gansu Province in the area of tourism, agriculture, healthcare and culture, in particular, the organization of a road tour of a Chinese ballet company.
Anatoly Kalinin underlined the importance of interregional cooperation for the sake of further invigorating Belarusian-Chinese ties.
