MINSK, 5 May (BelTA) – The Economy Ministry of Belarus and the Chinese Ministry of Commerce have signed a memorandum of joint feasibility study for signing an agreement on trade in services and investment between Belarus and China, BelTA learned from the Belarusian Economy Ministry.
“Cooperation in working out an agreement is aimed at the implementation of the agreements of the heads of state of Belarus and China to strengthen investment cooperation with the focus on foreign direct investment and alignment of the production potentials of the two countries,” the Economy Ministry said.
The agreement is also expected to promote and balance out bilateral trade.
