MINSK, 10 May (BelTA) – Belarus and China are determined to promote the use of the national currencies in mutual trade, reads the Belarusian-Chinese joint declaration on further development and strengthening of all-round strategic partnership that heads of state Alexander Lukashenko and Xi Jinping signed after the talks in Minsk on 10 May, BelTA has learned.

“The parties will strengthen financial cooperation, promote the use of the national currencies in mutual trade, expand interbank cooperation, develop various flexible financing methods and provide financial support on important cooperation projects,” the document says.

China is also ready to provide assistance to Belarus in the implementation of important social projects.
