MINSK, 31 March (BelTA) – Belarus and the People’s Republic of China will sign an agreement on the construction of an electrification system at the Chinese-Belarusian Industrial Park, says Council of Ministers’ Resolution No.232 of 26 March 2015 concerning the exchange of letters of the agreement between the Government of the Republic of Belarus and the Government of the People’s Republic of China on the construction of an electrification system at the Chinese-Belarusian Industrial Park, published on the National Legal Internal Portal on 31 March, BelTA has learned.
The document agrees on adopting the proposal of the Economy Ministry coordinated with the Energy Ministry, the Ministry of Foreign Affiars, the Justice Ministry and other stakeholders on signing the agreement between the Government of the Republic of Belarus and the Government of the People’s Republic of China on the construction of an electrification system at the Chinese-Belarusian Industrial Park.
The letter of the Belarusian government has been okayed by the Council of Ministers and is to be signed by the Economy Ministry. The resolution takes effect after its official adoption.
The Chinese-Belarusian Industrial Park is a territory with a special legal regime for comfortable doing business conditions. The ground breaking ceremony for the park was held on 19 June 2014. The park will provide comfortable doing business infrastructure, tax remissions for the project participants and a full package of services for the park residents. The priority areas of activity will include fine chemistry, biomedicine, electronic industry and mechanical engineering.
The park is situated in Smolevichi District, 25km from Minsk, in close vicinity to Minsk National Airport, the railway and the Berlin-Moscow highway. The park will include manufacturing and residential zones, office, trade and entertainment floors, financial, research and development centers.
