MINSK, 14 June (BelTA) – The memorandum of cooperation in training personnel has been signed by the customs bodies of Belarus and the People’s Republic of China, BelTA learnt from the press service of the State Customs Committee.
The document was signed during a visit to a delegation of the Belarusian customs bodies led by Chairman of the State Customs Committee Yuri Senko to China.
While in Beijing, the Belarusian delegation met with Minister of China’s General Administration of Customs Yu Guangzhou and representatives of Nuctech Company Limited. Apart from signing the memorandum the heads of the customs agencies of the two countries discussed cooperation in the implementation of the Chinese initiative One Belt, One Road. At the meeting with representatives of Nuctech Company Limited the parties discussed ways to develop cooperation in the construction and delivery of X-ray cargo inspection systems, training of the personnel and the use of technical means of customs control, as well as other promising areas of mutual interest.
The parties agreed to develop and strengthen the legal framework of the Belarusian-Chinese cooperation in the customs sector.
