MINSK, 26 April (BelTA) – The Development Research Center of the State Council of China, Belarusian-Chinese Development Analysis Center at the Institute of Economics of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus and the Research Economy Institute at the Economy Ministry will seek closer ties. The agreement was reached during a meeting between Belarus Deputy Economy Minister Yelena Perminova and Zhang Junkuo, Vice President of the Development Research Center of the State Council of China, BelTA learned form the press service of the Economy Ministry.
The parties discussed the issues of social and economic development of Belarus and China, including some aspects of the development of manufacturing infrastructure, state of foreign trade and investment conditions and also the further development of the China-Belarus industrial park Great Stone.
The Development Research Center of the State Council of China was established in 1981. It is one of the most influential government analytical centers in China specializing in economic and industrial policies. Its main mission is to do research on economic and social development of China and to develop a set of measures to implement the policy of reform and opening-up. In 2018, the center placed first in the ranking of think-tanks of China.
