MINSK, 7 May (BelTA) – The joint Belarusian-Chinese company Midea Horizont plans to release new products in 2015, Midea Horizont Director General You Baofen told BelTA.
“Midea Horizont is working on a new project to produce heating boilers, dispensers, cooktops. In 2015 we plan to launch the manufacturing of new products,” he said.
Today the company produces only microwave ovens. Its rated capacity is about 1 million items per year. “Up to 80% of our products is exported to the CIS countries, including Russia and Kazakhstan. We are also seeking other markets outside the CIS,” the Director General said.
According to You Baofen, the company is interested its steady development and job creation. “We have been modernizing and will continue modernizing our equipment in order improve economic conditions, reduce energy consumption and adverse environmental effect,” he explained.
The joint Belarusian-Chinese company Midea Horizont was set up in 2007. Horizont Management Holding Company and Midea Group are long-standing strategic partners. The joint company for Midea Group is an opportunity of advancing its business to the CIS and other markets as well as the production of various types of household appliances, such as dishwashers, electric hot plates, teapots, heating boilers, dispensers, cleansers, cooktops and ventilators. The company employs 150 people, including four professionals from China.
