Belarus, China launch new contest of projects in science

MINSK, 22 October (BelTA) - The State Committee on Science and Technology of Belarus and the Ministry of Science and Technology of China are holding a contest of flagship scientific and technological projects for 2025-2026, BelTA learned from the press service of the State Committee on Science and Technology.

The contest envisages three areas: information and communication technologies, advanced production technologies, and new materials. Plans are in place to select three large-scale joint projects to ensure the development of advanced technologies, organization of joint ventures or centers of industrial technologies.

The works should meet the requirements of the regulations on international scientific and technical projects, carried out within the framework of international treaties of Belarus. To enter the contest, one should fill in the forms established by the organizers and send them electronically with a cover letter from the state customer to the State Committee on Science and Technology.

The application must include a prepared business plan, written commitments of the state customer and/or other interested parties on practical use of research and development results obtained during the project implementation, on share participation in financing costs, a copy of a cooperation agreement with a foreign partner organization, and an act of departmental expertise.
 
Projects are accepted from 21 October to 20 November. Detailed information about the contest is available on the website of the State Committee on Science and Technology in the International Cooperation section.
