MINSK, 28 May (BelTA) – The first business seminar-forum on Belarus’ economic potential and promotion of the Great Stone industrial park brought together representatives of the Belarusian, Chinese, and Japanese business communities in Tokyo on 28 May, BelTA learned from the Belarusian Embassy in Japan.
Taking part in the forum were some 70 businessmen from the three countries, representatives of Japan’s Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, China’s Ministry of Commerce, the Chinese Embassy in Japan, Belarus’ Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Minsk Oblast Executive Committee, the Great Stone industrial park administration, the Belarusian automobile engineering company BelAZ.
Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to China Kirill Rudy moderated the panel discussion “Successful participation of foreign companies in project implementation in the Republic of Belarus”. The ambassador invited possible investors to an international regional forum due in the Great Stone industrial park on 2 July.
The seminar in Tokyo was organized by the embassies of Belarus and Japan in China, Industrial Park Development Company, and the Japan Institute for Overseas Investment.
