MINSK, 28 September (BelTA) – Belarus and China have discussed establishment of joint ventures, BelTA learned from the press service of the Economy Ministry of Belarus.
The working group on trade facilitation of the commission on trade and economic cooperation of the China-Belarus Intergovernmental Cooperation Committee held its first meeting that was arranged by means of a videoconference call. The videoconference was run by co-chairs of the working group: Belarus’ Deputy Economy Minister Anzhelika Nikitina and Second Inspector of the Department of Eurasia of China’s Ministry of Commerce Yang Xiumin. The meeting was attended by representatives of interested government agencies, embassies, chambers of commerce, business circles of the two countries.
“The participants of the online conference discussed the current state and prospects of bilateral cooperation and efforts to eliminate barriers in mutual trade. Top on the agenda were accreditation and certification of new types of products and Belarusian enterprises, registration of Belarus-made baby formulas, logistics and interaction in the transport sector, cooperation of chambers of commerce and industry-specific associations of China and Belarus, as well as establishment of joint ventures,” the press service informed.
