MINSK, 23 January (BelTA) – Belarus calls for a fair trade and economic architecture in Europe, Alena Kupchyna, Belarus’ Permanent Representative to the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE), said at the First Preparatory Meeting of the 25th OSCE Economic and Environmental Forum in Vienna, BelTA learned from Belarus’ Permanent Mission to the OSCE.
“Belarus calls for creating a fair, predictable and reliable trade and economic architecture in Europe that would take into account the interests of all member states,” Alena Kupchyna said.
The diplomat stressed that the trade and economic architecture in the region should rely on a well-established legislative framework in the relations between countries and integration associations. It should allow for peaceful resolution of arising issues.
The Permanent Mission of Belarus to the OSCE noted that Alexander Lashin, Belarus’ Deputy Prosecutor General, presented national practices in combating corruption at the forum.
