MINSK, 17 May (BelTA) – On 16 May Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Belarus to the Federative Republic of Brazil Leonid Krupets met with Jose Augusto Curvo, a federal deputy of the Brazilian Parliament representing the State of Mato Grosso, a member of the Brazil-Belarus friendship group, to discuss the supply of Belarusian potash fertilizers to that country, BelTA learned from the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus.

The parties discussed a number of issues of trade and economic cooperation between Belarus and Brazil. Leonid Krupets spoke about the export and investment capabilities of Belarus.

The parties agreed to maintain working contacts in the areas of mutual interest for Belarus and Mato Grosso.
