MINSK, 2 June (BelTA) – Belarus and Azerbaijan have agreed to expand the range of agricultural supplies. This matter was discussed at a working meeting of Belarus’ Agriculture and Food Minister Ivan Krupko with Minister of Agriculture of Azerbaijan Inam Karimov and Chairman of the Food Safety Agency of Azerbaijan Goshgar Takhmazli, BelTA informs citing the official Telegram channel of the Agriculture and Food Ministry.
The parties discussed trade and economic relations, in particular, ways to boost bilateral trade, expand the assortment of agricultural supplies, as well as cooperation prospects in the field of animal identification, veterinary control, crop production, livestock breeding, agricultural education and scientific potential.
Taking part in the meeting was Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Azerbaijan to Belarus Latif Gandilov.
The Azerbaijani delegation toured the 31st international specialized expo Belagro that is running at the exhibition center of the China-Belarus Industrial Park Great Stone on 1-5 June. The delegation is set to visit Nesvizh District of Minsk Oblast to see the construction of social and cultural facilities in agrotowns.
