MINSK, 31 May (BelTA) - Belarus has presented advanced technologies and innovations at the Caspian Oil & Gas 2023 exhibition in Baku, Azerbaijan, BelTA learned from the Belinterexpo exhibition enterprise of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
The Made in Belarus exhibition is featuring the Belarusian state petrochemical concern Belneftekhim, Naftan, Grodno Azot and its affiliate Khimvolokno Plant, as well as Mozyr Oil Refinery and Mining Wax Plant.
Belneftekhim is demonstrating advanced technologies in oil refining, petrochemical production and oil and gas operation. Through these innovations, Belneftekhim contributes to reducing the environmental impact and improving energy efficiency in the industry. Naftan has brought polyethylene, fiber and oils, while the Mining Wax Plant - paraffins and waxes, model compositions, plastic lubricants, rope and conservation greases, quenching oils and turbine oil. Grodno Azot and its branch Khimvolokno Plant are showcasing mixed fertilizers, polyamide fibers, yarns and composite materials.
Azerbaijan President Ilham Aliyev visited the Belarusian stand as part of the official opening ceremony of the exhibition.
“The presentation of such a wide range of petrochemical products underscores Belarus' leading role in the industry and confirms the country's desire to expand its presence and attract new opportunities in the oil and gas sector,” Belinterexpo said.
Caspian Oil & Gas is taking place from 31 May to 2 June. The Belarusian exposition has been organized by the Belinterexpo exhibition company of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Belinterexpo, together with the Belneftekhim concern, will also take part in the Made in Belarus collective exposition at the International Istanbul Yarn Fair in Turkiye on 1-3 June. The participants of the Made in Belarus exposition will display various types of fibers, yarns, and materials used in the textile, knitting, and clothing industries.
