MINSK, 10 October (BelTA) - A Belarusian delegation headed by Belarus’ Economy Minister Dmitry Krutoi is attending the annual meeting of the Boards of Governors of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the World Bank Group in Nusa Dua, Indonesia on 8-14 October, BelTA learned from the ministry press service.
“Belarus traditionally takes part in this high-level forum using it as a platform to coordinate the positions with senior executive management of the international financial organizations on topical issues of bilateral cooperation,” the press service noted.
The Belarusian delegation is set to meet with the leadership of the World Bank Group and the International Finance Corporation (IFC) to discuss the possibility of increasing the number of operations and the volume of financing for Belarus under the new Country Partnership Framework for 2018-2022. The status of implementation of the EBRD country strategy for Belarus for 2016-2019 will be reviewed during a meeting with the leadership of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development.
