MINSK, 19 April (BelTA) – Belarus and Armenia are discussing measures to ease up access for their agricultural products to the markets of each other, the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs told BelTA after the meeting between Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Armenia Igor Nazaruk and head of the state service for food security at the Agriculture Ministry of Armenia Armen Hayrapetyan on 18 April.
The parties talked over measures to simplify access for agricultural food products to the markets of Armenia and Belarus with a view to increasing mutual trade turnover. The sides also touched upon cooperation between agencies of the two countries that control the quality of food stock and food products.
“The parties agreed to coordinate cooperation in the areas of mutual interest,” the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said.
