MINSK, 19 January (BelTA) – The 28th installment of the international expo Belagro will take place from 5 to 9 June 2018, BelTA learned from the website of the exhibition company Minskexpo.
The annual agricultural forum Belagro is meant to bring together the international practices in mechanical engineering in agribusiness and search for effective innovative solutions in the fields of environment-friendly materials and non-waste technology. The Belarusian Agriculture and Food Ministry will arrange a special exhibition of achievements of Belarusian agrarians every year. The latest developments will be displayed by the R&D centers of Belarus’ National Academy of Sciences (NASB) for agricultural mechanization, arable farming, potato farming, fruit and vegetable growing, and food supply. The NASB R&D center for animal breeding and the Belarusian State Association of Livestock Breeding Belplemzhivobyedinenie will exhibit the achievements of the domestic animal breeding and poultry farming. The expo is also expected to see seminars, meetings with scientists and developers of equipment.
Belagro will display vehicles, technologies, and equipment for agricultural production, farms and greenhouses, agricultural products, agrochemistry, plant and soil protection products, forage and feed additives, veterinary preparations and medicines, engineering structures, energy equipment, software, seeds, plants, and technological equipment to process grain crops.
Minskexpo is the organizer of Belagro, IFWexpo is the co-organizer. The event will be held with the support and participation of the Belarusian Agriculture and Food Ministry, the Industry Ministry, and the National Academy of Sciences.
