Beijing-Minsk direct flight to strengthen Belarus-China ties
BEIJING, 4 May (BelTA) – The opening of the direct flight Beijing-Minsk will help considerably intensify the Chinese-Belarusian ties, Chinese Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Cheng Guoping told BelTA.
Mr Cheng Guoping emphasized the importance of opening a direct flight between the capitals of the two states. The new flight has been launched ahead of the Chinese President’s visit to Belarus.
“We hope that Xi Jinping’s visit to Minsk will help expand the trade and economic cooperation between Belarus and China and increase contacts between the citizens of the two countries,” said the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs. In his words, Belarus and China has been implementing many successful joint economic projects, including in energy and high technology. There are a lot of opportunities to develop all-round mutually beneficial ties.
