Bashkortostan to double production of Belarusian tractors

MOSCOW, 26 February (BelTA) – Further cooperation of Bashselkhoztekhnika with Belarusian partners, producers of farming machinery, was discussed at a meeting between head of the Ufa office of the Belarusian embassy in Russia Piotr Baltrukovich and Director General of Bashselkhoztekhnika Flaris Shaikhetdinov, BelTA learned from the press service of the diplomatic mission.

“Taking into account the operation of MTZ, Bashselkhoztekhnika sets ambitious tasks of doubling the output of Belarus tractors in 2019,” the press service said.

The Bashkortostan company is also set to increase the production of machinery of Bobruiskagromash and the Gomel Plant of Casting and Normals. The company is currently discussing the supply of vehicle sets of the abovementioned Belarusian companies.  

“The parties also discussed cooperation between Bashselkhoztekhnika and Minoytovsky repair plant that produces different types of ploughs, disk tillers and cultivators,” the diplomatic mission said.
