Atom Mind platform to help introduce digital technologies at Belarusian enterprises

Atom Mind platform to help introduce digital technologies at Belarusian enterprises

MINSK, 5 June (BelTA) – The private joint-stock company (ZAO) International Business Alliance (IBA), the country office of the Russian state nuclear energy corporation Rosatom in Belarus OOO Rusatom Bel, and Rosatom’s TVEL Fuel Company (the fuel division of the state corporation) signed a roadmap within the framework of the information and communications technology expo TIBO on cooperation in promoting the digital predictive analytics platform Atom Mind, BelTA has learned.

The document was signed with a view to promoting long-term, effective, and mutually beneficial cooperation between the parties for the sake of using the digital platform Atom Mind in projects envisaging the digitization of Belarus’ manufacturing sector enterprises, the creation of competence centers, and the development of the relevant human resources potential of the enterprises.

The roadmap was signed by IBA Director General Dmitry Konevtsev, Rusatom Bel Director Stanislav Levitsky, and TVEL Fuel Company Vice President for Digitization and Information Technologies Yevgeny Garanin.

Yevgeny Garanin said: “We’ve been creating and developing the digital predictive analytics platform Atom Mind for quite some time. We’ve already implemented a number of very interesting projects, in which Belarus’ manufacturing sector took interest even during the previous TIBO expo. The platform collects, stores, and processes all kinds of data. It also allows building models for machine learning. Essentially we introduce artificial intelligence and management of big data for accomplishing any kind of tasks including industrial ones and corporate ones. As for the manufacturing sector, the platform can predict the quality of products on the basis of the data the system processes and collects from various kinds of equipment at all the manufacturing stages. We take care of predictive analytics with regard to equipment maintenance and repairs and accomplish various kinds of science-related tasks.”

In his words, there are plans to determine the first site in Belarus by the end of the year where these solutions will undergo a pilot test.

“The first results can be achieved after the pilot test has been introduced. It usually takes 1-2 months. It is followed by the technological process,” Dmitry Konevtsev added. “A lot of effort is needed to create and maintain digital stability. This task cannot be accomplished singlehandedly. So, we’ve decided to team up with Rosatom to offer modern and import-independent solutions to the Belarusian market.”

The TIBO forum is a unique platform for sharing cutting-edge experience in the sphere of information technologies, for analyzing the world’s best digital transformation practices and for discussing prospects of effective utilization of the latest technological trends in conventional branches of economy. Over the course of four days state organizations and private companies will present their products and technologies in Minsk Arena. Taking part in the forum are government agencies, international organizations, and diplomatic missions, professional associations and business associations, scientific research institutions and educational ones, state-run and private companies. Official foreign delegations also take an active part in the forum.

Minsk Arena will host the Digital Economy Forum, the Eurasian Digital Forum, the Belarusian ICT Summit, the Era of Artificial Intelligence discussion, the Festival of Digital Technologies, and the youth forum We are the Future of Digital Belarus. Related events will take place as well: ceremonies to present the TIBO Internet Award and the TIBO Internet Marketing awards as well as the International Scratch Olympiad on creative programming among school students.
