ISLAMABAD, 25 May (BelTA) – Amkodor is ready to open its assembling plant in Pakistan, Chairman of the Council of Directors of OAO Amkodor – Management Holding Company Alexander Shakutin told media on 25 May, BelTA informs.
According to Alexander Shakutin, there are opportunities to sell highway engineering, agricultural and utility vehicles to Pakistan.
“Today we are talking not only about sales but also about the creation of an assembling plant in Pakistan. We have a good partner that shares this idea and is ready to take part in the project. We are mulling over the assembling of special-purpose vehicles,” Alexander Shakutin said.
“I think the volumes will be considerable. Belarus once sold 12,000 tractors a year to the country. I believe that after the Belarus President’s visit to Pakistan and high-level talks the interest in the Belarusian equipment will increase many times. It will be a successful business in this country,” Alexander Shakutin stressed.
