MINSK, 15 March (BelTA) - Airbus Group Vice President for Eastern Europe Jacques Garrigue is in Belarus holding talks on cooperation. On 15 March he met with Belarusian Minister of Foreign Affairs Vladimir Makei, BelTA learnt from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
According to the ministry, Jacques Garrigue is paying a visit to Belarus with the purpose of holding negotiations on cooperation in different government agencies and organizations.
The parties discussed prospects of cooperation between the Republic of Belarus and the Airbus Group in areas of mutual interest, the press service said.
Airbus is one of the world’s biggest aircraft manufacturers founded in the late 1960s as a consortium of several European aircraft producers. The concern was named Airbus Group following its rebranding in 2014. The concern employs nearly 139,000 people and is headquartered in four European countries: France, Germany, the UK, and Spain. The company is present in 35 countries.
