MINSK, 1 October (BelTA) – Air China is going to open a representative office in Belarus, BelTA learned from the website of the National Airport Minsk.

Air China’s office is supposed to be located in the National Airport Minsk. Air China is the third largest air carrier in terms of the number of aircraft.

Representatives of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs told BelTA that Air China’s representative office in Belarus was registered on 16 September.

BelTA reported earlier that Air China’s first regular flight from Beijing to Minsk took place on 1 May 2015. Since then Air China has been offering four flights per week along the route Beijing – Minsk – Budapest – Beijing.
