Agreement to allocate EFSD loan for Belarus

MINSK, 26 February (BelTA) – A decision has been taken to allocate a loan of the Eurasian Fund for Stabilization and Development (EFSD) to Belarus, Russia’s Ambassador to Belarus Alexander Surikov said in an interview to the Belarus One TV channel, BelTA informs.

“A final decision has been adopted. We will need some time to conclude a loan agreement. Then the funds will be injected in the Belarusian economy,” said Alexander Surikov.

According to the Russian diplomat, the conclusion of the loan agreement will not need a lot of time.
