MINSK, 18 March (BelTA) – The Council of Ministers has appointed an acceptance commission for the start-up complex of the first unit of the Belarusian nuclear power plant. The decision was formalized by Council of Ministers’ Resolution No. 148 as of 16 March 2021 that was published on the National Legal Internet Portal on 18 March, BelTA informs.
Deputy Prime Minister Yuri Nazarov took charge of the acceptance commission. Belenergo Director General Pavel Drozd and Deputy Energy Minister Mikhail Mikhadyuk were appointed his deputies.
The commission also included First Deputy Chairman of the State Committee for Standardization Dmitry Bartashevich, Belenergo Deputy Director General Sergei Bobovich, Head of the Road Police Department of Grodno Oblast Aleksandr Voiteshko, Grodno Oblast Deputy Governor Vladimir Deshko, Deputy Emergencies Minister Anatoly Dolgolevets, First Deputy Finance Minister Dmitry Kiyko, First Deputy Architecture and Construction Minister Igor Kostyukov and others.
In line with the document, the chairman of the acceptance commission has the right to involve, if necessary, specialists from central government agencies and other state-run organizations subordinate to the Council of Ministers, as well as other organizations.
The Energy Ministry provides organizational and technical support for the acceptance commission.
