ZHITOMIR, 4 October (BelTA) – Belarus and Ukraine have no borders, Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky said as he met with Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko one-on-one on 4 October, BelTA has learned.
“Our countries have no borders indeed. I am talking about our people first of all,” the Ukrainian leader said.
Volodymyr Zelensky started the talks with the words: “Hello, friends.” In his greeting speech he turned from Russian to Ukrainian, noting that the heads of state understand each other well.
“Our people are close friends. I am proud that we have such good relations and neighbors,” the Ukrainian president stressed.
