MINSK, 11 October (BelTA) - CEC head Lidia Yermoshina does not rule out a long positive dialogue with the OSCE/ODIHR. Lidia Yermoshina made this statement when speaking in the TV program Editors’ Club on the Belarus 1 TV Channel, BelTA has learned.
When asked what the probability is that Europe will recognize the results of the Belarus president election, Lidia Yermoshina noted: "They have certain requirements, have their own standards which they, in fact, impose on others. Everything else, which maybe even more democratic but "not what they are used to", is never evaluated positively.”
"I think there will be a long dialogue. Let it be a long positive dialogue. This is much better than polite distancing from each other or cold silence,” stressed the head of the CEC.

Such results do not suit them at all. On the other hand, given today’s geopolitical turbulence European politicians need to adjust their policy towards Belarus.
