Yermolovich: Belarus must have budget surplus in 2019

MINSK, 29 June (BelTA) – Belarus must run a budget surplus in 2019, First Deputy Finance Minister of Belarus Maksim Yermolovich told reporters on 29 June, BelTA has learned.

“Belarus must have a budget surplus in 2019 through oil revenues that will be used to settle the government debt,” Maksim Yermolovich said.

It is too early to talk about the amount of the budget surplus. It is necessary to complete the budget drafting process, evaluate revenues and spending. After that it will be clear how big the budget surplus will be, Maksim Yermolovich explained.
