MINSK, 6 April (BelTA) - Belarus and China have become true friends, member of the Central Military Commission, member of the State Council, Chinese Defense Minister Wei Fenghe said at the meeting with Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko on 6 April, BelTA has learned.

The Chinese minister took note of Belarus’ huge successes in state construction. “You have made great contribution to the development of bilateral friendship. Our countries are good friends and partners. Under your leadership and the leadership of President Xi Jinping our countries have become cast-iron friends,” said Wei Fenghe.

He thanked the Belarusian head of state for the opportunity to meet and conveyed greetings and good wishes from Chinese President Xi Jinping.
