MINSK, 13 May (BelTA) – Belarus and Russia have good prospects in the development of joint content, Russia’s Deputy Minister of Mass Communications Alexei Volin said at the 11th Belarusian international media forum Partnership for the Future in Minsk on 13 May, BelTA has learned.
According to Alexei Volin, in the current conditions there is no choice: whether to work on your own content or use someone else’s. Belarus and Russia have big chances for joint work in the area of news agencies, radio, and film production.
The deputy minister added that modern conditions require changes to the approaches mass media use. It is impossible to sit and wait for someone to finance projects. It is necessary to search for variants for the production of competitive media products.
Alexei Volin stated that very soon approaches to the training of mass media personnel would change. University graduates often do not have skills the work in mass media needs today. He does not rule out that a certificate from the courses of certain professional publications will bear a greater weight that a university diploma.
