MIORY DISTRICT, 3 August (BelTA) – It is time for Vitebsk Oblast to rise using its own resources. Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko made the statement as he visited Miory District on 3 August, BelTA has learned.
Alexander Lukashenko stressed: “Let’s proceed from what we have. It is time for Vitebsk Oblast to rise to its feet using what it has accumulated.”
The head of state noted that it is necessary to sow the crops, which produce the largest yield in the available conditions. “Every district should decide what crops should be sown depending on climatic conditions and simply people’s habits,” added the president.
The head of state drew attention to the development of the animal husbandry industry in the region and to providing the farms with the necessary equipment. As an example Alexander Lukashenko mentioned the agricultural enterprise Rodina in Belynichi District, Mogilev Oblast where simple but most favorable conditions for animal husbandry had been enabled.
