Viazovich: Victory in Silk Road rally is result of many-year teamwork

MINSK, 19 July (BelTA) - The victory in the Silk Road rally is the result of many years of painstaking teamwork of athletes and specialists, pilot of MAZ-SPORTauto Team Siarhei Viazovich.

The athlete noted that this year’s rally was difficult and tense. The victory came thanks to the painstaking teamwork over the years.

"We were very motivated as we never came in first in the Silk Road rally. For a long time we worked on improving the truck, its components and assemblies, searching for new technical solutions. The people who created this vehicles made great efforts to ensure that we had an advantage over our competitors. It gave a positive result. The truck did a good presentation of Minsk Automobile Plant, our dear Belarus," Siarhei Viazovich said.

The pilot also thanked Minsk Automobile Plant for supporting the MAZ-SPORTauto Team project. "Today is a very difficult time. Despite this, the company's management is doing everything so that we can perform and show good results. Seeing such support, we do our best. I would like to say thank you to all the members of the team, whose work may not be so noticeable from a media point of view. Without their efforts, victory would have been impossible," Siarhei Viazovich noted.
