MINSK, 11 December (BelTA) – The Belarusian-Moldovan business meetings yield concrete results, Chairman of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Vladimir Ulakhovich said at the Belarusian-Moldovan business forum on 11 December, BelTA has learned.
“We have established close business and friendly relations with our partner chamber of commerce. We actively develop regional links: all our regional offices have agreements with all regional branches of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Moldova. We have a number of agreements under which we operate. This year alone we have held 10 business events. And, most importantly, they deliver results,” Vladimir Ulakhovich noted.
He expressed confidence that the Belarusian-Moldovan business forum will become a new major step to help the complementary economies of the two countries develop, fulfill large state tasks and commercial projects for the benefit of peoples.
The Belarusian-Moldovan business forum, which took place in Minsk on 11 December, gathered more than 90 participants from Belarus and about 30 from Moldova. Attending the event was Moldovan Prime Minister Pavel Filip and Belarus Deputy Prime Minister Mikhail Rusy. “For business the meetings with government leaders is always a big deal. We see it as the policy towards the development cooperation, a guarantee of support. For business this is also the responsibility in terms of meeting the expectations and implementing big and serious projects,” Vladimir Ulakhovich noted.
