NEW DELHI, 11 September (BelTA) – The Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) regularly receives cooperation proposals from Indian partners, Vladimir Ulakhovich, the Chairman of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) said at the business forum in New Delhi, BelTA has learned.
According to the BCCI head, a platform has been set up to maintain an ongoing Belarus-India business dialogue. The Belarus-India Business Cooperation Council is up and running. There is the continuous information exchange of business offers. "We know in practice how fast-moving and proactive the Indian business is. Almost every week the BCCI receives the cooperation proposals from Indian business unions and companies. We always thoroughly review these proposals and look for interested Belarusians partners," he said.
Attending the business forum in New Delhi were numerous representatives of the Belarusian companies operating in the engineering industry, petrochemistry, energy, consumer goods production, science, healthcare, pharmaceutics, logistics and tourism.
"The business forum focused on the promising areas of cooperation including the new ones. We applied a very practical approach to its organization to get practical results. The main areas are engineering industry, petrochemistry, consumer goods production and pharmaceutics. The new areas are logistics and transport," Vladimir Ulakhovich said.
Business forum was attended by great number of the heads and the representatives of Indian companies engaged in pharmaceutics, food industry, trade and investment, export and import operations, infrastructure projects, petrochemistry, information technologies and services, healthcare, financial activities, mining industry, engineering industry, woodworking, education and biotechnologies.
Ten memoranda and agreements were signed following the forum. Business negotiations in New Delhi continue.
