MINSK, 4 June (BelTA) - Belarus can become a gateway for Mongolia and its goods to Europe, Mongolia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Damdin Tsogtbaatar said after the talks with Belarus’ Minister of Foreign Affairs Vladimir Makei in Minsk on 4 June, BelTA has learned.
The foreign guest described as important the talks with his Belarusian counterpart during which the parties discussed a wide range of areas for further cooperation. Mongolia showed interest in more active cooperation with Belarus in agriculture, mechanical engineering, food industry, science, and education. Special attention was paid to supplies of city transport vehicles to Mongolia. Damdin Tsogtbaatar also stressed that Belarus’ experience and expertize in agriculture is also interesting for Mongolia.
The broadest mutual use of each other's transit potential holds great promise too, Damdin Tsogtbaatar said. In his view, Belarus can become a gateway for Mongolia and its goods to Europe and Mongolia a gateway for Belarusian products to Asia.
