NUR-SULTAN, 25 October (BelTA) – Belarus and Kazakhstan are coming to strategic agreements, Kazakhstan President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev said as he met with Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko on 25 October, BelTA has learned.
According to the Kazakhstan leader, the parties talked over the key areas. “Even the closest states have certain issues in their relations, which require discussion, clarification and, most importantly, solutions. I believe that as a result of these negotiations, we are already reaching very serious agreements that I am sure will be implemented in the very near future,” he said.
The president of Kazakhstan stressed that his country is interested in increasing trade with Belarus, expanding humanitarian ties and interaction in international organizations.
