Speaker of Pakistan's National Assembly wants to come to Belarus as tourist

MINSK, 20 August (BelTA) – Belarus is a wonderful country, and I would like to visit it again, Speaker of the National Assembly of the Parliament of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Sardar Ayaz Sadiq said after the talks with Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko in Minsk on 20 August, BelTA learned.

“Belarus is a wonderful country. People here are very polite and hospitable,” Sardar Ayaz Sadiq noted.

He also added: “I have decided that I will definitely come back to Belarus as a tourist to explore the country."

Sardar Ayaz Sadiq found the talks with the Belarusian president effective. The parties discussed a wide range of issues concerning the Belarusian-Pakistani interaction which is mutually beneficial for both sides.

In 2024, Belarus and Pakistan celebrate the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations. In 2022-2024, the countries maintained positive dynamics of bilateral contacts.
