MINSK, 21 April (BelTA) – The official visit of the Kiev delegation to Minsk will give a new impetus to the development of the cities, Chairman of the Minsk City Hall Andrei Shorets said as he met with Vice Mayor of Kiev Petro Panteleev on 21 April, BelTA has learned.

The meeting was attended by the heads of departments of the cities’ administrations, heads of district administrations, directors of enterprises.

Andrei Shorets pointed out the fact that the delegation comprises many representatives of the utilities sector and invited the guests from Kiev to visit Minsk utility entries. The Minsk mayor was also interested in the cooperation in business and social sector. “I think our relations will be increasingly vibrant,” Andrei Shorets stressed.

Petro Panteleev, in turn, said that the members of the delegation are ready to work hard during the visit. “Our delegation is a specialized one. There are no politicians in it. Heads of divisions in charge of the utilities maintenance of Kiev have arrived in Minsk. We can learn a lot from you. Therefore, we are here,” the mayor of Kiev said.

He also invited the chairman of the Minsk City Hall to pay a reciprocal visit to Kiev.
