MINSK, 23 December (BelTA) – Our Children is a campaign of kindness, love, and social cohesion, Belarus’ Minister of Labor and Social Security Marianna Shchetkina said as she visited the national rehabilitation center for children with disabilities, BelTA has learned.

"Traditionally we hold Our Children campaign during these days to wish happy holidays to kids. Government officials, military men, artists, bankers - all try to do the maximum to ensure that our kids be happy. The campaign is held according to a certain scenario. We do our best to make sure that every child gets a present and most importantly attention and a true New Year celebration,” Marianna Shchetkina said.

According to the Minister, everyone has New Year associated with new events, dreams and hopes. "During this time I wish everyone that his hopes and dreams come true. Let there be kindness, and this depends on us. The more we help each other, the kinder the world becomes. Our Children campaign is a campaign of goodness, love, and the cohesion of our society,” she noted.

Marianna Shchetkina noted that the national rehabilitation center for children with disabilities receives children from across the country. "They undergo medical and social rehabilitation here. The sooner a child starts rehabilitation, the more successful it will be. The task of the center is to help every child, wherever he lives, even in the most remote village, if he needs assistance,” noted Minister.
