MINSK, 5 June (BelTA) – The international agriculture expo Belagro 2018 showcases the achievements of science, industry and agriculture, Belarus’ Deputy Prime Minister Mikhail Rusy said during the official opening of the expo, BelTA has learned.
“Belagro 2018 shows the achievements of our industrialists, scientists and farmers. The exhibition has become a sort of new Green Week in Belarus. Taking part in our expo are about 540 companies from 28 countries. May I wish all exhibitors good contracts,” Mikhail Rusy said.
The international agriculture expo Belagro 2018 kicked off at the Globus Park trade and logistics center in the agro-town of Shchomyslitsa, Minsk District on 5 June. Taking part in the expo will be 536 companies from 28 countries, including Austria, the UK, Germany, Denmark, Spain, Italy, Poland, Russia, the United States, Ukraine, and Finland. Collective stands are showcased by the Agriculture and Food Ministry, Industry Ministry, the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, Belgospishcheprom, Belkoopsoyuz, other ministries and agencies of Belarus. The expo also features expositions of the enterprises from the Czech Republic, India, Pakistan, and the Kirov Oblast of Russia.
