MINSK, 7 June (BelTA) – Belarus and Russia have created a serious system of Union State mass media, Lyudmila Bokova, the Deputy Chairperson of the Board of the Constitutional Legislation and State-Building Committee at the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of Russia, said at one of the breakout sessions of the 3^rd Forum of Regions of Belarus and Russia on 7 June, BelTA informs.

“A serious system of state-run mass media including the Soyuznoye Veche Newspaper, the Union State Magazine, has been created,” Lyudmila Bokova noted. “The Belarusian Telegraph Agency (BelTA), the National Press Center of Belarus, Russia Today, etc. serve as information partners.”

She also noted that the two states have signed more than 150 agreements in all fields at various levels.

This year Russia hosted a contest of children’s drawings dedicated to the 55^th anniversary of the first manned space flight. The contest featured more than 1,000 works of children from various counties. A girl from Grodno Oblast was one of the winners. Lyudmila Bokova presented a prize to her on 7 June.
