Raubichi ready for Legends’ Race, IBU Open European Championships

MINSK, 14 February (BelTA) – The Raubichi Olympic Training Center is ready for the Legends’ Race biathlon festival and the IBU Open European Championships, Director of the Raubichi Olympic Training Center Alexander Gagiyev told a press conference hosted by BelTA on 14 February.

“The sport center has proved its worth during the Snow Sniper biathlon tournament. We hope that athletes and spectators will associate the upcoming forum with positive emotions. We installed two additional stands for 1,500 fans for the Legends’ Race festival and the IBU Open European Championships. Fans will be transported to Raubichi. Additional parking places will be allocated. The center is almost ready to host the events,” said Alexander Gagiyev.

He added that athletes will have difficulties on the track due to the recent thaw weather.

The Legends’ Race will take place at the Raubichi Olympic Training Center on 18 February. Taking part in the competition will be 20 outstanding biathletes. The IBU Open European Championships are scheduled for 18-24 February.
