MINSK, 18 November (BelTA) – Qatar intends to implement all agreements reached at the highest level with Belarus, Qatar’s Finance Minister Ali Shareef Al Emadi said during the meeting with Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko on 18 November.

Ali Shareef Al Emadi said that the visit was a continuation of the recent visit of the Belarusian President to Qatar. Qatar’s Finance Minister said that the Emir of Qatar gave clear instructions to implement all the agreements reached during the visit of the Belarusian highest-level delegation. This explains such a rapid return visit of the Qatari delegation set to explore the issues related to the implementation of the Belarusian-Qatari cooperation roadmap.

“It was a great honor for me to accompany you during your visit to Qatar. It was a great opportunity to talk to you about the ways to develop our political, economic and investment relations,” Ali Shareef Al Emadi noted.

He also drew attention to the fact that Qatar has a very positive experience of cooperation with Belarus in the investment area. “We are very much satisfied with the results of the first project carried out in Minsk to build the Marriott Hotel. I am confident that this project will become a reliable basis for the further development of investment cooperation between the two countries,” Qatar’s Finance Minister said.
