MINSK, 20 December (BelTA) – The price for the Geely Atlas NL3 car is competitive in comparison with similar models from other manufacturers, BelTA learned from Deputy Prime Minister of Belarus Vladimir Semashko on 20 December.
“Any business relies on prime cost. We build factories to create jobs, give birth to a new taxpayer in order to give people a more competitive product from the point of view of technical parameters, reliability, and prices. If we talk about the model, which is already assembled — Geely Atlas NL3, it will compete with Kia Sportage and some other models. We aim to offer slightly lower [prices]. It is up to the available car options after that. This is why we’ve mentioned the price range of $17,000-25,000. It is a competitive price in comparison with analogs,” said Vladimir Semashko.
The official remarked that legislation had been drafted to enable state subsidies for Belarusian buyers of Belarus-made cars. “The document has been agreed by every agency. It will be brought in soon. We will support Belarusian buyers,” assured the deputy prime minister.
