MINSK, 20 December (BelTA) - There have been positive trends in the dialogue of Belarus and the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, Speaker Vladimir Andreichenko said at the closing of the third session of the House of Representatives of the sixth convocation, BelTA has learned.
According to Vladimir Andreichenko, there have been positive trends in the development of the dialogue with PACE. “Starting January next year, our delegation will be able to participate in the discussion of all issues that are considered in the meetings of the Political Committee of that organization,” he said.
According to the Speaker, the MPs need to take advantage of these opportunities to clarify the country’s positions on fundamental matters and to promote Belarusian initiatives that promote stability, security and cooperation in the world.
