MINSK, 1 November (BelTA) - Poland emphasizes Belarus’ responsible role in international relations, Poland’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Jacek Czaputowicz said at a meeting with Belarus’ Minister of Foreign Affairs Vladimir Makei on 1 November, BelTA has learned.
Jacek Czaputowicz thanked the Belarusian minister for the opportunity to discuss cooperation between the two countries. “I have come to participate in the Munich Security Conference Core Group Meeting in Minsk because we recognize the role of Belarus in international relations,” said the head of the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs. He invited Vladimir Makei to visit Warsaw.
The Polish foreign minister added that next year will mark 10 years of the Eastern Partnership initiative and that the development of cooperation on the Eastern vector is important for the European Union.
