MOSCOW, 27 June (BelTA) – The presidents of Belarus and Russia, Aleksandr Lukashenko and Vladimir Putin, exchange views and coordinate actions literally every day, press secretary of the Russian president Dmitry Peskov told the media, BelTA has learned.

"Aleksandr Lukashenko is the head of our brotherly and allied Belarus, he is a very experienced, wise, battle-hardened statesman. President Putin enjoys very good, not just allied, but also long-standing friendly relations with him. Therefore, of course, presidents exchange views, coordinate actions and so on… This happens practically on a daily basis, especially when security comes to the fore against the backdrop of aggressive manifestations around our countries," the Kremlin spokesman added.

Russian journalists also asked Dmitry Peskov to comment on today's words of Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko, who said that neither he nor Russian President Vladimir Putin nor Yevgeny Prigozhin should be made heroes in the situation around the attempted mutiny in Russia. "I don't think I have the right to comment on Aleksandr Lukashenko. The president [of Russia Vladimir Putin] praised his efforts to resolve this crisis just yesterday," the Russian leader's spokesman said.

Media representatives were also interested in the messages that emerged on Telegram channels that the founder of PMC Wagner Yevgeny Prigozhin had allegedly already arrived in Belarus. “I don’t have any information about it and I can’t tell you anything,” Dmitry Peskov said.
